Hawker Typhoon. A bomb covered with savings stamps subscribed by airmen and airwomen in R.A.F. Fighter Command's "Wings for Victory" week, was dropped from a Typhoon fighter bomber on the marshaling yards North of Mons. The pilot of the Typhoon and W.A.A.F. stick the final stamps on the 250 lb. bomb before its delivery on enemy territory. May 1943.
